Kim Delaney was an American actress. Her most well-known role is because of her part as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC series NYPD Blue. For this she received the Emmy Award. Her most well-known role is her performance on All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. As the sole daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney grew up with her four brothers. As a child, Delaney fantasized of becoming an official reporter for the court. She began modelling in highschool and eventually gained commercial opportunities when she relocated into New York. Her first film role was as a teenager on All My Children, a soap opera from 1981. Delaney is an acclaimed actress, appearing involved in numerous TV movies, and dramas. Her professional career has been much more lucrative than her personal life. She has been in the past accomplished actress battled alcoholism and had two marriages fall apart. Her custody in 2005 was confiscated from her.
